New Delhi, India, September 22: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Priyanka Kakkar criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday, accusing it of trying to crush the AAP model and keep Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia apart. She stated that despite these efforts, no one can stop Delhi’s progress. Kakkar mentioned that children in Delhi lost 17 months of development due to Manish Sisodia’s imprisonment and six months due to Arvind Kejriwal’s imprisonment.

Kakkar also defended Kejriwal’s honesty, saying, “If Arvind Kejriwal is dishonest, then no one in the country is honest… Arvind Kejriwal will now seek a certificate of honesty from the people of Delhi.”

Earlier, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and AAP leader Manish Sisodia also criticized the BJP, accusing them of trying to create a rift between him and Kejriwal. Sisodia said, “I used to tell them that you are trying to separate Lakshman from Rama. I warned the BJP not to separate Lakshman from Rama. No Ravana can ever break that bond. They tried hard to break me and the party. I told them it’s a 26-year-long friendship, and I cannot betray my friend, my political mentor, and my brother, Arvind Kejriwal.”

At the ‘Janta ki Adalat’ event held at Jantar Mantar, AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal explained that he resigned not out of desire for the Chief Minister’s position but because he entered politics for the country’s sake. Kejriwal said, “I resigned because I did not come into politics for corruption. I have no desire for the CM’s chair. I didn’t come here to make money. I worked in the Income Tax department, and I could have earned crores if that were my aim. I came into politics for the country, for Bharat Mata, to change the political system.”
