AAP and Congress Alliance Uncertain as Haryana Election Deadline Nears
As the deadline for filing nominations for the Haryana Assembly elections approaches, the alliance between the Congress and AAP remains unresolved. On Monday, AAP Haryana President Sushil Gupta announced that the party would release a list of 90 candidates if no agreement is reached by the end of the day.
AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Sandeep Pathak confirmed the party’s readiness to contest all seats. Sanjay Singh stated, “Sandeep Pathak has already given a statement on this issue and Sushil Gupta has also clarified the stand that we are fully prepared and we have completed the process of selecting candidates for all seats.”
Gupta emphasized that the AAP is fully prepared to contest in all 90 seats in the polls and it is just a matter of time before they will announce the names of candidates who will contest in the election.
The last date for nominations is September 12, with voting on October 5 and results on October 8.
