21-Year-Old Woman Alleges Rape by Lawyer at Tis Hazari Court in Delhi
A 21-year-old woman has accused a lawyer of raping her in his chamber at Tis Hazari Court, located in north Delhi. The incident reportedly took place on July 27, and the First Information Report (FIR) was filed on July 30.
According to the woman’s statement, the lawyer had invited her to his chamber under the guise of offering her a job. Instead, he allegedly sexually assaulted her and threatened her with severe consequences if she reported the incident. The woman also claimed that she was given Rs 1500 and asked to leave.
The incident came to light when the woman confided in her aunt, who then approached the police. A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway.
