The second edition of the Zim Afro T10 kicked off with a thrilling encounter between the Durban Wolves and the Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers at the Harare Sports Club.

Durban Wolves’ Innings

The Durban Wolves started strong with Sharjeel Khan scoring 10 runs off the first two deliveries. However, Will Smeed was dismissed for a duck in the next over. Sikandar Raza and Luke Wood then slowed down the Wolves’ scoring rate, leading to the crucial wicket of Sharjeel Khan for 29 runs. Colin Munro and Mark Chapman tried to rebuild the innings, but Munro was bowled out for 10 runs. Chapman, along with Regis Chakabva, pushed the scoring rate above 10 runs per over. Chapman was eventually dismissed for 38 runs, and the Wolves ended their innings at 106/5.

Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers’ Innings

For the Jo’Burg Bangla Tigers, Mohammad Shahzad and Hazratullah Zazai started the chase with an 8-run over. Zazai hit the first six of the innings and continued to score quickly, reaching 44 runs before being dismissed. Kusal Perera came in and hit a six off his first delivery but was soon dismissed for 23 runs. Skipper Sikandar Raza then took charge, scoring 20 runs and leading the Tigers to victory. The Tigers reached the target in just 8 overs, winning by 8 wickets.
