YSRCP’s Rachamallu Sivaprasad Reddy Criticizes YS Sharmila Reddy’s Allegations Against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy

In Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP spokesperson and former MLA Rachamallu Sivaprasad Reddy has criticized YS Sharmila Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh Congress chief, for her recent statements. He accused her of spreading lies and conspiring against her brother, YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, by aligning with political rivals Chandrababu Naidu and TDP MLA Paritala Sunitha.

Rachamallu emphasized that YS Jagan has always respected and loved his sister, which is why he shared his self-acquired assets with her. He clarified that Jagan approached the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) due to unavoidable circumstances, not to claim assets in court. Rachamallu questioned Sharmila’s motives, suggesting they stem from greed and arrogance, and noted that she is trying to involve Jagan in a public dispute over property.

He highlighted that Jagan has financially supported Sharmila, providing around Rs 200 crore over the past decade. Rachamallu criticized Sharmila for transferring shares against an existing agreement, prompting Jagan to seek legal action to cancel the transfer. He praised Jagan’s wife, Bharati, for agreeing to give Sharmila her rightful share without objection and condemned Sharmila for criticizing her.

In a separate press conference in Ongole, YSRCP spokesperson and former MLC Jupudi Prabhakar urged CM Chandrababu Naidu not to politicize family matters, warning that the public disapproves of such actions. He accused Naidu’s coalition government of neglecting governance and focusing on “diversion politics,” harming sectors like education, health, and agriculture. Jupudi demanded that Naidu explain his own family’s property divisions instead of exploiting Jagan’s family issues for political gain.
