Amaravathi (Andhra Pradesh) [India], July 16: YSRCP former MLA Monditoka Jaganmohan Rao has raised serious concerns about public health conditions in the state. He criticized the TDP government, led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, for not focusing on public health issues.

Speaking at the party central office, Rao said that health conditions in the state are rapidly declining, with a significant increase in diarrhoea cases. He blamed the government for failing to provide safe drinking water and accused them of prioritizing political vendettas over public well-being.

Rao praised former Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for bringing revolutionary changes in education and healthcare, including free healthcare for everyone. He criticized the TDP for not setting up a single government medical college during their tenure and for stalling the opening of five new medical colleges this year.

Rao also accused the TDP of betraying medical students by reversing their stand on self-finance seats in government medical colleges. He said that although the TDP promised to abolish the self-finance system while in opposition, they continued it once in power.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous Jagan Mohan Reddy government of looting natural resources, creating litigation, and exploiting lands and minerals. He claimed that forests were deforested and urban lands were looted under their administration. Naidu mentioned that Tollywood director Ramanaidu was granted land in Visakhapatnam during the TDP regime, which was allegedly converted for residential use illegally after YSRCP came into power. Additionally, lands belonging to Sarada Peetam were also looted.
