YSR Congress Party Faces Demolition of Offices in Andhra Pradesh

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is facing challenges as their central office in Tadepalli was demolished. Now, the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has issued a notice regarding another office in Visakhapatnam, claiming it was built illegally.

Notice from GVMC

The GVMC officials objected to the construction on two acres of land in Yendada, Visakhapatnam, without proper permission. They stated that the YSRCP applied for permission from the wrong authority, the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA), instead of GVMC.

The Zone-2 Town Planning Officer has given the YSRCP a week to provide a proper explanation. If they fail to do so, further action will be taken.

Speculations and Reactions

There are speculations that the Visakhapatnam YSRCP office might also be demolished. This follows the recent demolition of the under-construction central office building of the YSRCP by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority.

Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Response

YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of sending a violent message about the new regime. He expressed his determination to fight back, stating that the YSRCP will not bow down to these threats and acts of violence.

Jagan urged all democrats in the country to condemn the actions of Chandrababu Naidu.
