YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu Respond to Anakapalli Pharma Factory Explosion
YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited workers who were injured in an explosion at a pharma factory in Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh. The explosion, which occurred in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Atchutapuram, resulted in 17 deaths and several injuries.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met with the injured workers and their families at Anakapalli Hospital. He emphasized the need for the government to show sympathy and empathy by providing compensation to the victims.
State Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also visited the injured and announced a compensation of Rs one crore for the families of the deceased and Rs 50 lakh for those seriously injured. He has ordered a high-level inquiry into the incident to identify any lapses and improve safety measures.
