Incident Details

A 23-year-old man was allegedly beaten by a group of people for stepping on a newly constructed spot in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place on August 5 around 5 pm under the jurisdiction of Hanuman Tal police station.

Police Action

Upon receiving a complaint from the victim, Aman Chaudhary, an FIR was registered. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Suryakant Sharma stated that during a public hearing on Tuesday, Aman Chaudhary reported that he was thrashed by Rajesh Sonkar and others for stepping on the newly constructed spot.
