On Sunday, the BJP announced its first list of 99 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections scheduled for November 20. Key candidates include Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis from Nagpur South West, Minister Girish Mahajan from Jamner, and Sudhir Mungantiwar from Ballarpur. Other notable candidates are Sreejaya Ashok Chavan from Bhokar, Ashish Shelar from Vandre West, and Mangal Prabhat Lodha from Malabar Hill.

Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Krishnarao Bawankule expressed his gratitude after being named the candidate from the Kamthi Assembly constituency.
