Yogi Adityanath Visits Ayodhya for Ram Lalla Anniversary Celebrations
On January 11, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Hanumangarhi temple in Ayodhya to offer prayers for the welfare and progress of the people. This visit coincided with the first anniversary of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla's idol at the Ram Mandir.
During the visit, CM Yogi participated in the Pratishtha-Dwadashi program, expressing his blessings for Ayodhya, a place renowned for its connection to Lord Ram. The original Pran Pratishtha ceremony was held on January 22, 2024, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but the anniversary is celebrated on January 11, 2025, according to the Hindu calendar.
Prime Minister Modi extended his wishes, highlighting the temple as a significant cultural and spiritual heritage. He expressed confidence that the Ram temple would inspire India's development.
The three-day celebrations began with an Agnihotra ritual, followed by the chanting of 'Ram Naam' and other religious recitations. Events included 'Rag Seva', a musical recitation, and cultural programs, attracting many devotees to Ayodhya.
