Yogi Adityanath Talks About Development in Jammu and Kashmir Before Elections

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke at a rally in Ramnagar, Jammu and Kashmir, ahead of the third phase of elections. He emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir also deserves development, similar to Uttar Pradesh, under a ‘double-engine government’.

Yogi Adityanath highlighted that there have been no riots in Uttar Pradesh in the last 7.5 years and all festivals are celebrated peacefully. He cited the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya as an example of the government’s achievements.

He criticized Congress, PDP, and National Conference for corruption and encouraging terrorism for political gain. He mentioned that the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A has led to significant development in Jammu and Kashmir, transforming it from a terrorist state to a tourism state with new infrastructure projects like highways, IIT, IIM, and AIIMS.

The second phase of polling in Jammu and Kashmir was held on September 25, and the third and final phase is scheduled for October 1. The counting of votes will take place on October 8. These are the first assembly elections in the Union Territory since the abrogation of Article 370 and after a gap of ten years.
