Yogi Adityanath Criticizes Congress for Undermining Democracy
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during a seminar in Gorakhpur, criticized the Congress Party for consistently undermining India’s Constitution and democracy. He spoke at the ‘Black Day’ and ‘Loktantra Rakshak Senani Samman’ program, organized by the BJP at Yogi Raj Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium.
Adityanath honored 28 Loktantra Rakshak Senani and recalled the Emergency imposed by then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975, describing it as a dark chapter in Indian history. He accused Congress of stripping citizens of their fundamental rights and amending the Constitution for selfish gains.
He emphasized the importance of educating future generations about Congress’s actions to prevent similar oppression. Adityanath also criticized Congress for misleading the public with false promises and undermining India’s democracy both domestically and internationally.
Several prominent figures, including former MLA Sheetal Pandey and BJP state vice-president Dr. Dharmendra Singh, attended the event.
