Yogi Adityanath Congratulates Om Birla on Being Elected Lok Sabha Speaker Again

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated Om Birla on his re-election as Lok Sabha Speaker. Adityanath praised Birla as a popular and soft-spoken leader and expressed confidence in his leadership.

Om Birla, elected from Kota, Rajasthan, was nominated by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and elected by voice vote. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh supported his nomination. Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi also extended his wishes.

The 18th Lok Sabha session began on June 24 and will end on July 3. The 264th Session of Rajya Sabha will start on June 27 and conclude on July 3, with President Murmu addressing a joint sitting of both houses on June 27.
