The summit, sponsored by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, highlighted the UAE’s role in promoting global climate action and sustainability.

The summit showcased Dubai’s innovative approaches to balancing economic growth with environmental conservation. It built on the outcomes of COP28 and set the stage for COP29 in Azerbaijan. UAE’s Energy and Infrastructure Goals

Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei outlined the UAE’s updated Energy Strategy 2050, aiming to triple renewable capacity by 2030 and achieve net-zero by 2050. The National Hydrogen Strategy was also introduced, targeting significant hydrogen production by 2050.

Reem Al Hashimy and Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi highlighted the UAE’s commitment to sustainable development and the importance of the summit in driving global action towards a greener future.
