Woman Consumes Poison Over Property Dispute in Lucknow
A 35-year-old woman from Firozabad was hospitalized after consuming poison in Lucknow. She alleged that some goons had illegally taken over her property and threatened to kill her son. The woman, originally from Shikohabad, Firozabad, arrived in Lucknow by bus at 7:30 am and was heading to the Chief Minister’s residence to report her plight.
According to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Central, Manisha Singh, the woman felt dizzy and sat down on the road near the Chief Minister’s residence. A police official noticed her and inquired about her situation. She confessed to having consumed poison and was immediately taken to the civil hospital for treatment.
The police team from Firozabad district is investigating the matter. Documents recovered from the woman indicate a dispute over her house, and it was revealed that her son was being threatened. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
