West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose Criticizes Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee
West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose has strongly criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, accusing her of trying to bully and defame him. Bose stated that Banerjee has crossed all limits and cannot intimidate him. He emphasized that his character is not negotiable and plans to file a defamation case against her.
Bose expressed concerns about the financial state of West Bengal, describing it as facing a financial breakdown. He has called for an emergency cabinet meeting to discuss the issue and plans to issue a white paper on the state’s finances.
Regarding law and order, Bose accused the state government of sponsoring violence and stressed his duty to ensure the government functions according to the Constitution of India. He reiterated his commitment to achieving a corruption-free and violence-free Bengal, quoting Swami Vivekananda, ‘Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.’
