On September 3, Waqf Board Chairmen from four states met with BJP leaders BL Santosh and Dushyant Gautam at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi. The meeting lasted for about an hour and included several key figures:

According to sources, a healthy discussion was held during the meeting. BL Santosh instructed the Minority Front to work quietly regarding the Waqf Board. A series of meetings are planned, and the Waqf Board presidents of many states will soon meet again with the organization’s general secretary at the BJP headquarters.

A seven-member committee was formed on August 31 to run awareness campaigns to address confusion spread by the opposition about the Waqf Board Amendment Bill. BL Santosh emphasized the importance of gathering suggestions from the Muslim community to ensure they do not feel the Waqf Board will work against them. The committee will soon meet with Joint Parliamentary Committee chairman Jagdambika Pal to present these suggestions.
