Wanted Killer Pankaj Yadav Shot Dead in Mathura Encounter

Pankaj Yadav, a notorious contract killer with a Rs 1 lakh reward on his head, was shot dead by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) in Mathura. The incident took place at around 5:20 AM in the Farah police station area.

Yadav was injured during the encounter and was immediately taken to a hospital. However, he was declared dead by the hospital authorities. The police recovered one pistol, one revolver, a two-wheeler, and other incriminating materials from the scene.

Yadav had connections with infamous gangsters Mukhtar Ansari and Mohammad Shahabuddin. He was a resident of Tahirapur village in the Ranipur block of Uttar Pradesh’s Mau district. One of Yadav’s accomplices managed to escape and is currently being searched for by the police.
