Legendary cricketer Vivian Richards was seen at Lord’s Stadium on Thursday during the second day of the first Test between England and the West Indies. Lord’s Cricket Ground shared a picture of Richards on social media, welcoming him back to the iconic venue.

Richards, who started his Test career for the West Indies at age 22 in 1974, posed with his portrait at the stadium. Over his career, he played 121 Test matches, scoring 8540 runs and becoming one of the most feared batsmen of all time.

Meanwhile, England’s right-arm seamer James Anderson is playing his final international game. Anderson, who debuted in 2003, has taken 701 wickets in 187 Test matches, making him the third-highest wicket-taker in the format and the top fast bowler.

In the ongoing match, England won the toss and chose to field. The West Indies struggled, losing wickets regularly and scoring only 121 runs in 41.4 overs. Mikyle Louis, Kavem Hodge, and Alick Athanaze were the top scorers for the West Indies.

England, in their first innings, gained a 250-run lead, scoring 371 runs. Zak Crawley, Jamie Smith, Joe Root, Ollie Pope, and Harry Brook all made half-centuries. Jayden Seales was the standout bowler for the West Indies, taking four wickets.
