Vote Counting Details

The counting of votes for the Haryana Assembly elections will start at 8 am. Postal ballots will be counted first, followed by EVMs. Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Agarwal announced that 93 counting centres have been set up across 22 districts for 90 assembly constituencies. Two centres each are in Badshahpur, Gurugram, and Pataudi, with one centre for the other constituencies.

Security Measures

To ensure a smooth counting process, 90 counting observers have been appointed. A total of 30 companies of Central Armed Police Forces are deployed at the centres, which are under a three-tier security cover. Around 12,000 police personnel are on duty statewide.
