New Delhi, India – Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s tough season continued as he struggled in the first Test against Bangladesh held in Chennai. Kohli scored only 6 and 17 runs in his two innings. Hasan Mahmud was the standout bowler for Bangladesh, taking five wickets.

Bangladesh’s batting also faltered, with Shakib Al Hasan, Litton Das, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz offering some resistance. Indian bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep were effective, taking four and two wickets respectively. At the end of day three, India was 81/3, leading by 308 runs.
