Violent Attacks in Quetta, Pakistan: Explosions and Grenade Attacks Cause Deaths and Injuries
On August 14, a series of violent attacks in Quetta, Pakistan, led to the deaths of three individuals and left at least 10 others injured. The incidents began with a powerful explosion in Liaquat Bazaar, resulting in one death and six injuries. A grenade attack on a girls’ high school injured one person and caused significant damage. Later that night, two people were killed and three others injured in explosions at two houses in the Killi Deba area. Unknown motorcyclists fired grenades at Ayub Stadium during an Independence Day bodybuilding competition, causing significant damage. The deceased were identified as Muhammad and Beebal, the wife of Ghulam Nabi. These attacks have raised serious concerns about security in the region.
