On August 14, a series of violent attacks in Quetta, Pakistan, led to the deaths of three individuals and left at least 10 others injured. The incidents began with a powerful explosion in Liaquat Bazaar, resulting in one death and six injuries. A grenade attack on a girls’ high school injured one person and caused significant damage. Another grenade was thrown at a shop selling Independence Day items, injuring seven people, including the shop owner and his brother. One of the victims, Irfanullah, later died at the hospital.

Early in the morning, another grenade attack near a girls’ high school on Munir Mengal Road injured the school watchman and damaged part of the building. A remote-controlled bomb exploded at Bugti Stadium in Kharan, causing no injuries. Similarly, a grenade attack on a security forces checkpost in Panjgur resulted in no casualties.

Later that night, two people were killed and three others injured in explosions at two houses in the Killi Deba area. Unknown motorcyclists fired grenades at Ayub Stadium during an Independence Day bodybuilding competition, causing significant damage. The deceased were identified as Muhammad and Beebal, the wife of Ghulam Nabi. These attacks have raised serious concerns about security in the region.
