Vinesh, along with wrestler Bajrang Punia, joined Congress recently. Within hours of joining, Vinesh was announced as the party candidate for the Julana Assembly Constituency, while Punia was appointed as the working president of the All India Kisan Congress.
Vinesh met former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and stated that her new journey is not just about politics but also about service and justice.
The Haryana Assembly Elections will be held on October 5, with the last date for filing nominations on September 12. The results will be announced on October 8.
