Vietnam’s Nguyen Xuan Thang Visits BJP Headquarters in New Delhi
A high-level delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam, led by Nguyen Xuan Thang, visited the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in New Delhi. Nguyen Xuan Thang is the President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and a Member of the 15th National Assembly. Upon arrival, he and his team were warmly welcomed by BJP’s National General Secretary, Tarun Chugh.
During the visit, discussions focused on party structure, ideology, and the grassroots implementation of government schemes under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting aimed to strengthen ties between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the BJP, exploring future collaboration opportunities.
Tarun Chugh emphasized the deep historical ties between India and Vietnam, expressing a commitment to further strengthen this partnership for inclusive growth and regional cooperation. He highlighted the BJP’s guiding principles of ‘Nation First, Party Second, Self Last,’ and the mission of reaching out to the last mile, driven by the values of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas.’
Chugh also discussed the BJP’s organizational structure, the success of the ‘NaMo App,’ and ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ as well as the party’s significant membership growth. He mentioned the Act East Policy, which aims to enhance India’s economic and strategic ties with Southeast Asian countries, particularly Vietnam.
Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed gratitude for the warm reception and acknowledged the growing ties between India and Vietnam under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. The visit underscored the commitment to strengthening historic bonds and advancing shared values between the two nations.
