Chinh announced a new air route from Ahmedabad to Da Nang and expressed the need to open up the economy for businesses. He also emphasized cooperation in healthcare, aiming to establish pharmaceutical infrastructure in Vietnam.

Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)

During the event, multiple MoUs were signed, including those for waste treatment plants, pharmaceutical park developments, stem cell technology, and trade promotion.

Historical Ties

India and Vietnam share age-old historical and civilizational ties, elevated to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2016. Vietnam is a key pillar of India’s Act East Policy and an important partner in its Indo-Pacific vision.

Chinh was received at the Delhi airport by Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita. He will receive a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan and hold talks with Prime Minister Modi, witnessing the signing of cooperation agreements.
