Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar Celebrates Central Electronics’ Golden Jubilee

New Delhi [India], June 27: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar addressed the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Central Electronics Limited (CEL) on Wednesday. He spoke about the dark days of emergency in India and assured that such days will never return due to the strong constitutional democracy in the country.

Dhankhar praised CEL’s transformation from a loss-making Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) to a ‘Mini Ratna Company’. He acknowledged the role of scientists and technologists in building a new India and called CEL a role model for other companies.

He highlighted CEL’s achievements in solar energy and its contributions to a greener, cleaner India. Dhankhar also emphasized the importance of promoting research in battery technologies and charging infrastructure for green mobility.

Discussing the changing security landscape, Dhankhar stressed the strategic importance of CEL in safeguarding national interests through advancements in electronics, artificial intelligence, and surveillance.

During the event, Dhankhar unveiled the Golden Jubilee Logo of CEL and inaugurated the Multipurpose Hall ‘Swarn Mandapam’. The event was attended by Minister of Science and Technology Jitendra Singh, Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, Secretary of DSIR & Director General of CSIR, Chetan Prakash Jain, CMD of CEL, and other dignitaries.
