Udaipur, Rajasthan – International President of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Alok Kumar condemned the incident where a class 10 student was allegedly attacked with a knife by his classmate at a government school. Kumar questioned the mindset that led to such violence and called for civil society to address the issue.

Following the incident, Udaipur district administration imposed section 144 and shut down internet services for 24 hours to prevent further violence. Udaipur SP Yogesh Goyal reported that the injured student received medical aid and is stable.

Udaipur District Collector Arvind Poswal confirmed the incident occurred in the early hours and that the attacker and his father have been arrested. Poswal urged the public to avoid spreading rumors and to verify information with authorities to maintain peace in the city.
