In the lead-up to the upcoming elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Veer Saraf expressed confidence in his party’s success. He highlighted the recognition of their efforts and the development work carried out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kashmir as key factors. Veer Saraf, who is contesting from Shangus-Anantnag East, shared his gratitude towards the party for selecting him as a candidate.

Veer Saraf stated, “I am happy that the party considered me capable enough to contest the elections. But all this happened due to the hard work of our workers. The party has recognized our work. It is our responsibility to work for the people. We are confident that the BJP will surely win.”

Sofi Yousuf, the BJP candidate from Srigufwara-Bijbehara, emphasized the support of senior party leaders and the impact of PM Modi’s governance in the region. He remarked, “PM Modi, JP Nadda, Amit Shah, and other leaders gave me this responsibility. We will go to seek votes on behalf of PM Modi’s work in Kashmir after 2014. There is no curfew, and strikes have decreased since August 5, 2019. We will approach the people with the development done by PM Modi. People love PM Modi, and they will vote for BJP surely.”

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its first list of candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir elections, which will be held in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1.
