The 19th edition of the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon is set to take place in New Delhi on October 20, 2024. Participants from around the world will join to celebrate the transformative power of this event.

Event Details

Procam International has announced the opening of registrations for both physical and virtual races. The event will feature a World Athletics Gold Label Race with a prize pool of USD 260,000, attracting top athletes and amateurs alike.

All races will start and end at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, except the Open 10K, which will begin at Sansad Marg.

Community and Philanthropy

Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Delhi Police, emphasized the community spirit of the marathon. Priya Agarwal Hebbar, Non-Executive Director of Vedanta Ltd, highlighted the #RunforZeroHunger initiative, aiming to provide 5 million meals.

Support from Athletes

Asian Games 2022 Silver medalist Ancy Josan Edappilly expressed her pride in supporting the event as a PUMA athlete. She noted the marathon’s significance for aspiring Indian long-distance runners.

Registration Information

Registrations for all physical race categories will open on July 19, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. and close on September 20, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. or until all spots are filled. Special spots are reserved for women who can’t provide a timing certificate.
