Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje Scindia spoke at an event in Udaipur, Rajasthan, organized by the Shri Sundar Singh Bhandari Charitable Trust. The event marked the death anniversary of Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Sundar Singh Bhandari.

Raje reflected on the past era of loyalty in politics, stating, “Bhandariji promoted many leaders including Bhairon Singhji, but that era of loyalty was different.” She emphasized that people used to believe in actions, but now they often betray those who helped them.

She also recalled Dr. Mukherjee’s opposition to Section 370, which was removed by Narendra Modi’s government, and Bhandari’s dedication to the Sangh. Raje shared memories of her mother, Vijaya Raje Scindia, who formed the Jan Sangh government in Madhya Pradesh in 1967.

Assam Governor Gulab Chand Katariya was also present at the event.
