The Uttarakhand State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and district police successfully rescued four youths who were stranded in the Kosi River in Nainital on Sunday. The SDRF shared this news in a post on X.

Earlier the same day, a bus carrying 23 people overturned near Almora, injuring six passengers. The accident occurred when the driver lost control due to a broken spring pin. The SDRF provided first aid to the injured and transported them to the Primary Health Center Suyalbadi for further treatment.
