Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Provides Appointment Letters to 236 New Teachers

On August 16, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed out appointment letters to 236 assistant teachers at the Directorate of Education in Nanurkheda. These teachers were selected under the Elementary Education Department.

In the first phase of counseling, 473 assistant teachers were chosen, with the remaining candidates being appointed from their respective districts. Chief Minister Dhami emphasized the continuous efforts to improve the quality of education in the state. He mentioned that funds for repairing school buildings in poor condition would be provided as needed.

Dhami congratulated the new teachers and highlighted their crucial role in shaping the future of children. He stressed the importance of good education, technology, and innovation in schools. He encouraged the new teachers to take ownership of their schools and focus on personality development and moral education, in addition to the curriculum.

Over the past three years, the state government has provided more than 16,000 government jobs to youths. Employment opportunities are also being created in non-government sectors through job fairs.
