Connecting Youth with Employment

CM Dhami emphasized that the state government prioritizes connecting the youth with employment opportunities. He noted that 65% of polytechnic students have secured jobs this year. The Chief Minister congratulated the students, stating that the appointment letters are a recognition of their hard work and dedication.

Role of Private Sector and Government Initiatives

Dhami highlighted the significant role of the private sector in providing employment within the state. He also mentioned the importance of non-government industrial units in economic development. The Chief Minister praised national initiatives like Startup India and Make in India for sparking an industrial revolution and providing opportunities for youth.

Dhami assured that the state government has made the recruitment process transparent, increasing trust among the youth. He mentioned that over 15,000 youth have been appointed in government departments in the last three years. The Chief Minister also spoke about the anti-cheating law, which has been well-received by the public.

Online Training and Placement Center

An online training and placement center has been established to help students of technical education secure better employment. Dhami encouraged students to view their work and experience as valuable assets.
