Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Sets Deadline for Sanay Dham Construction

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], July 12: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed officials to complete the construction of Sanay Dham by October 15, with a budget of Rs 94 crore. He emphasized that the construction quality should not be compromised.

During a high-level committee meeting, Dhami directed the Minister of Sainik Welfare to monitor the construction closely to avoid delays. He also proposed increasing financial assistance for the dependents of martyred soldiers and ensuring immediate employment for them, including the families of five martyrs from Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir.

Dhami suggested naming roads and schools after these brave martyrs and assigned the MDDA the responsibility for the maintenance and operation of the Military Dham once completed. He also instructed the District Magistrate of Dehradun to resolve any land disputes related to the project.

The Chief Minister highlighted that Uttarakhand is known as both Devbhoomi (Land of Gods) and Veerbhoomi (Land of the Brave), and the Military Dham will serve as a symbol of respect for soldiers and a source of inspiration for the youth.

Additionally, it was decided to cancel the order banning construction within 500 meters of the Military Dham to make the system more rational.
