Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Celebrates Aadi Gaurav Mahotsav
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the ‘Aadi Gaurav Mahotsav’ in Dehradun, organized by the State Tribal Research Institute. During the event, he announced the annual ‘Tribal Science Festival’ to promote tribal talents in science, with funding provided as needed.
Participation in Tribal Pride Day
Earlier, CM Dhami virtually joined a program in Jamui, Bihar, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Tribal Pride Day. He presented certificates to beneficiaries of various government schemes, including PM Janman Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Foundation Stones and Cultural Engagement
The Chief Minister laid the foundation for two hostel buildings under PM Janman Yojana in Uddham Singh Nagar and Kotdwar. He engaged with tribal communities, enjoying cultural performances and visiting stalls showcasing tribal art and culture.

CM Dhami paid tribute to Birsa Munda, highlighting his contributions to the Indian freedom struggle and social reform. He emphasized the importance of tribal society as a strong foundation for India.

Under PM Modi’s leadership, efforts are being made to empower tribal communities. Initiatives include increased funding for Eklavya Model Schools and the selection of 128 tribal villages for development. Scholarships and infrastructure improvements are also being provided.
