Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the three-day Nayar Utsav in the Yamkeshwar assembly constituency of Pauri Garhwal district. During the event, he announced several development projects, including the development of Devprayag-Satpuli motor road, upgrading Devprayag-Buakhal to a National Highway, and constructing a 6 km Nand river road. A mini stadium in Laxman Jhula and a double lane RCC bridge near Ganga Bhogpur are also planned.

Development Initiatives

CM Dhami emphasized the importance of these projects for the region’s recognition and economic growth. He highlighted the construction of a 100 feet high flag and park in Pauri, Trishul Park, and the revival of the Kedarnath-Badrinath walking route. Other projects include the Ganga Sanskriti Kendra in Srinagar, improvements in Dhari Devi temple, and the beautification of Srinagar Gola Park.

Focus on Employment

The Chief Minister also mentioned the upcoming implementation of the Uniform Civil Code in the state and efforts to increase employment opportunities. Over 17,000 government jobs have been provided in the last three years, and a strict anti-cheating law ensures transparency in recruitment exams.
