Uttarakhand Celebrates State Foundation Day with Devbhoomi Silver Festival

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced that the State Foundation Day will be celebrated as the Devbhoomi Silver Festival. A meeting at his residence outlined the framework for various events. The celebrations will include the inauguration of Uttarakhand Bhawan in Delhi on November 6, the Uttarakhand Pravasi Sammelan in Dehradun on November 7, and the State Foundation Day on November 9. The festival, named Uttarakhand Silver Story, will run until November 12.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of involving all segments of society, including youth, women, farmers, artisans, environmentalists, and state agitators, in the festival. He highlighted Uttarakhand’s rapid progress and the need for active participation in its development story. Various cultural programs, sports, quizzes, and conferences will be organized to engage different groups.

The festival will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister in Dehradun on November 9, 2024, and will conclude in Kumaon Mandal in 2025.
