In Dehradun, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami introduced the ‘Three-pillar and Nine-point Strategy Program’ aimed at balancing the state’s economy and ecology. This initiative, guided by the Planning Department, focuses on three main pillars: Community Empowerment Campaign, Innovation and Technology Campaign, and Financial Autonomy and Literacy Campaign.

Community Empowerment Campaign

This pillar emphasizes recycling traditional practices, encouraging behavior change for appropriate consumption, and upgrading the skills of the youth.

Innovation and Technology Campaign

It promotes green technology, quick technology-based solutions, and the adoption of a circular economy.

Financial Autonomy and Literacy Campaign

This pillar focuses on standardizing green practices, participating in carbon credits, and strategizing bridge funding for sustainable projects.

Chief Minister Dhami highlighted the importance of contributing to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India while maintaining environmental balance. He urged all departments to commit to this strategy during the Navratri festival, aiming for a harmonious balance between economic growth and ecological preservation.
