New Helicopter Services Launched

CM Dhami inaugurated the Passenger Terminal Building at Sahastradhara Heliport and launched the Dehradun-Almora Helicopter Service. The state government has expanded the Sahastradhara helipad and announced new air services to Yamunotri, Gauchar, and Joshiyara under the Chief Minister Udan Khatola Yojana.

Benefits for Almora and Tourists

Almora, a city with historical significance, will now be more accessible to tourists. The new helicopter service will shorten travel time, making it easier for visitors to explore cultural sites like Jageshwar Dham and Nanda Devi Temple.

State-of-the-Art Facilities

The new terminal at Sahastradhara heliport, built with an investment of Rs 2482 lakhs, can accommodate 400 passengers and includes modern amenities. Pawan Hans Limited will operate double-engine helicopters, providing affordable services to Uttarakhand’s citizens and tourists.
