Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Unveils New Projects at Betalghat Event
On October 7, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the annual function at Shaheed Khemchandra Dorbi Government Post Graduate College in Betalghat, Nainital. During the event, he inaugurated six schemes worth 691.06 lakhs and laid the foundation for a project valued at 795.69 lakhs, totaling 1486.75 lakhs.
Key Announcements
CM Dhami announced the construction of motor roads in Chhini Matela, Suyalbari, and Chafa villages. He also approved projects for local temples and sewer systems in Bhawali Ramnagar and Bhimtal. Additionally, he announced the construction of a mini stadium in Letibunga and Bhimtal, a two-lane road from Ramnagar to Betalghat, and an auditorium in Mahavidyalaya Betalghat.
Honoring Heroes
Dhami honored the parents of martyr Khem Chandra Dorby, who sacrificed his life in 2014 during flood relief in Jammu and Kashmir. He also recognized eleven women as Lakhpati Didi and honored several local contributors.
Educational and Infrastructure Developments
The CM inaugurated the construction of a hostel at Rajiv Gandhi Abhinav Vidyalaya and other educational facilities. He laid the foundation for road improvements and a canal covering project.

Dhami emphasized the state’s commitment to youth welfare, sports, and education, with a budget of over Rs 1700 crore. He assured the completion of land law investigations by the next budget session.
