On Sunday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended a ‘Jan Sabha’ event in Rewari city, Haryana, to support Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Laxman Singh Yadav. CM Dhami praised the Rewari region as a land of heroes, with many serving on the country’s borders. He urged the people to vote for BJP in the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls on October 5.

Achievements Under BJP Leadership

CM Dhami highlighted the progress made in Haryana under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He mentioned improvements in roads, health, drinking water, and infrastructure. The Vande Bharat train has enhanced connectivity, and gas cylinders and pure drinking water are now available in every home. The Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign also started in Haryana.

He noted that the Haryana government has established 1000 sports nurseries and promoted employment through initiatives like Make in India, Startup India, and Skill India. Criticism of Previous Congress Government

CM Dhami criticized the previous Congress government for providing electricity to only 538 villages, compared to the BJP’s 24-hour electricity to 58,000 villages. He accused the Congress of corruption and nepotism, claiming that government jobs were only available through bribes. He also criticized Congress for allegedly looting Haryana and supporting anti-national elements.

BJP’s Development Manifesto

CM Dhami mentioned the BJP’s development manifesto for Haryana, which includes provisions for Rs 2100 to women under the Laado scheme, increased treatment costs under the Ayushman scheme, scooters for girls under the Awwal Balika Yojana, and interest-free loans up to 3 lakhs for farmers. The manifesto also aims to determine MSP for 24 crops.

Haryana will vote on October 5 to elect a 90-member state legislative assembly, with results announced on October 8. In the 2019 elections, BJP won 40 seats, while Congress secured 30 seats.
