Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Launches Pravasi Uttarakhand Cell Website
Dehradun, Uttarakhand – On Saturday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the website of the Pravasi Uttarakhand Cell at the Secretariat. The website, developed by ITDA, aims to provide information about various state government policies, programs, and activities to migrants from Uttarakhand.
The Chief Minister has directed officials to organize a grand conference in Dehradun on November 7, 2024, for Pravasi Uttarakhand Day, inviting migrants from different states and countries. He emphasized the importance of maintaining connections with the motherland and leveraging the expertise and support of migrants for the state’s development.
The Pravasi Uttarakhand Cell was established to connect with Uttarakhandi migrants worldwide, honor their achievements, and utilize their skills and financial capabilities for the state’s growth. The website also includes links to the Ministry of External Affairs and its important schemes for the convenience of migrants living abroad. Contact has been established with migrants in 18 countries so far.
