Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Accuses Jharkhand Government of Sheltering Infiltrators

Jamtara (Jharkhand) [India], September 26: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has accused the JMM-led coalition in Jharkhand of providing shelter to infiltrators under a ‘planned conspiracy.’ He claims that these infiltrators are occupying tribal land and ruining their culture.

Address at Parivartan Sabha

While speaking at the ‘Parivartan Sabha’ in the Nala Assembly Constituency of Jamtara district, CM Dhami criticized the Congress and its allies, calling them a ‘gang of scams.’ He mentioned that Jharkhand’s Chief Minister had returned after serving a jail term and accused Congress of filling its coffers during its 60 years of rule.

Support for Tribal Society

CM Dhami highlighted the historical and cultural significance of Jharkhand and Uttarakhand, stating that both states have a glorious history. He praised former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for creating the state of Jharkhand and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for advancing the development of the tribal society. He also expressed pride in Droupadi Murmu, a member of the tribal society, becoming the President of India.

Government Schemes

Dhami listed various schemes initiated by the Central Government under PM Modi’s leadership, such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Yojana, and PM Awas Yojana. He mentioned infrastructure developments in Jharkhand, including highways, railway stations, and the construction of AIIMS in Deoghar.

Accusations Against Jharkhand Government

CM Dhami accused the Jharkhand government and opposition of conspiring to alter the state’s demography by sheltering infiltrators. He claimed that these infiltrators are taking over tribal land and resources and endangering the lives of local daughters. He also mentioned that slogans like ‘Hindus and tribals leave Jharkhand’ are being raised in many areas.

Call for BJP Government

Dhami urged the people to support the BJP in the upcoming legislative assembly elections, accusing the current Jharkhand government of corruption and failing to protect tribal interests. He promised that a BJP government would fill over two lakh vacant government posts in the state.

Jharkhand is set to go to polls for its 81-member legislative assembly later this year, as the current government’s tenure ends on January 5, 2025. The Election Commission of India is yet to announce the dates.
