Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], September 12: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved more than 310 proposals for public interest development schemes, according to an official release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). Two years ago, CM Dhami invited all MLAs to submit proposals for 10 development schemes for their constituencies. In response, MLAs from all parties submitted around 700 proposals.

So far, CM Dhami has approved over 310 of these proposals, including more than 90 from opposition party MLAs. This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’ and aims to make the 21st century the century of Uttarakhand.

Chief Secretary RK Sudhanshu has instructed all departmental secretaries to ensure the timely implementation of these projects. On Wednesday, CM Dhami thanked PM Modi for approving health coverage for all senior citizens aged 70 and above under the Ayushman Yojana. ‘Thank you Modiji! The decision of the Central Government under the able leadership of the respected Prime Minister @narendramodi ji to benefit all citizens above 70 years of age under the Ayushman Yojana is highly commendable. This decision will certainly provide quality and accessible health services to the elderly,’ he said on X.
