Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Joins Community Meal and Prays at Maa Hatkalika Temple
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a community meal with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) officials, workers, and seniors from Pithoragarh district during a ‘Tiffin Baithak’ in Gangolihat, Pithoragarh. He emphasized the cultural significance of community meals in India, stating, “A community meal holds a special place in Indian culture. Bringing food from home and eating together fosters goodwill, coordination, and cooperation.”
During the event, CM Dhami discussed various topics related to the development of the organization and the region with party officials. He shared his experiences on the social media platform X, along with pictures of the community meal.
Earlier, Dhami offered prayers to Goddess Kali at the Maa Hatkalika Temple in Gangolihat, performing rituals with full devotion. He prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state and shared pictures of his temple visit on X.
Additionally, the Chief Minister attended the closing ceremony of the Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav 2024 in Gangolihat, expressing joy at the performances by folk artists. On the occasion of Hindu New Year and Chaitra Navratri, Dhami, along with his wife Geeta Dhami, worshipped Maa Adishakti Bhagwati and participated in Gauseva, feeding the cows.
