On October 1, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke at an election rally in Pundri, Haryana, expressing the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government to advancing Haryana. Dhami criticized the Congress party, accusing them of spreading lies to deceive the public. He emphasized that the BJP prioritizes the nation over the party and is dedicated to advancing the entire country.

Dhami was supporting BJP candidate Satpal Jambha from Pundri and also campaigned in Faridabad for BJP candidate Dhanesh Adlakha, where he received a warm welcome.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also addressed a rally in Haryana, responding to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s remark about not dying until PM Modi is removed from power. Singh wished Kharge a long life and expressed hope that PM Modi would continue to lead for many years.

Singh criticized the Congress’s administration, using Himachal Pradesh as an example of their inability to pay employees. He noted that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh have declared they will not accept any salary.

Haryana is set to vote on October 5 to elect its 90-member state legislative assembly, with results to be announced on October 8. In the 2019 elections, the BJP emerged as the largest single party with 40 seats, followed by the Congress with 30 seats. The BJP is confident of securing a third term in government.
