Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 18: Following a recent Allahabad High Court order, Uttar Pradesh Education Minister Sandeep Singh announced that the state will prepare a fresh selection list for the appointment of 69,000 assistant teachers. The Chief Minister has instructed officials to follow the Supreme Court’s observations within the given timeframe.

Sandeep Singh stated, “The government will not allow anything wrong to happen with the future of any person of any category or with the future of the youth of this state. The government will work to ensure and secure their future.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the reservation benefits should be extended to all eligible candidates, ensuring no injustice is faced by any candidate.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav expressed hope that no injustice would be done to aspirants demanding reservation after the Allahabad High Court cancelled the result of 69,000 assistant teacher recruitments. He acknowledged the long struggle of the aspirants and hoped the government would provide justice and prevent future injustices.

Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav welcomed the High Court’s decision but reminded that the ruling party’s past actions should not be forgotten. She stated, “It is good, but we should not forget the torture the ruling party has done.”
