Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya Criticizes Samajwadi Party Over DNA Test Demand in Ayodhya Case
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Keshav Prasad Maurya, has criticized the Samajwadi Party (SP) after it demanded a DNA test of SP leader Moeed Khan, who is accused in the Ayodhya gang rape case. Maurya stated that it is in SP’s nature to protect rapists, especially if they are Muslims.
SP leader Akhilesh Yadav responded by saying that DNA tests should be conducted to ensure justice for the victim. He emphasized that those found guilty should be punished according to the law, and if the allegations are proven false, government officials involved should also face consequences.
Earlier, the Ayodhya administration demolished the bakery of Moeed Khan, the main accused in the case. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief Mayawati also criticized SP’s demand for a DNA test, questioning how many such tests were conducted during their tenure.
Faizabad (Ayodhya) MP Awadhesh Prasad called for a thorough investigation to uncover the truth and ensure justice for the victim. He stressed that innocents should not be framed and that the victim should receive financial assistance.
