Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Assures Justice for Bahraich Violence Victim’s Family
In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with the family of a man who died during a clash in Bahraich. The CM assured the family that the culprits would face strict action. Kishan Mishra, the deceased’s brother, expressed satisfaction with the meeting, noting the promise of Rs 10 lakh compensation, a house, and a job for the widow.
BJP MLA Sureshwar Singh confirmed the family’s demands for justice and the CM’s commitment to fulfilling them. The family received Rs 10 lakh, a house under the PM Awas Yojana, and an Antyodaya card. The CM also directed efforts to provide a job for the widow.
The incident occurred during a Durga idol immersion procession in Bahraich, resulting in one death and several injuries. CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that justice for the victim’s family is a priority, and those responsible will not be spared. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak announced a high-level inquiry and assured support for the victim’s family.
